October 13-15

October 13 – Bus 401

I have had this bus before but not in a while this bus is an older bus still containing a back window. These buses are always the best because they contain a back window and are usually very bright as a result of it. There was this guy who got on at my stop this morning who seemed very aprehensive about getting on this morning. Then when he finally did get on the bus he came close to the back of the bus and it seemed like he was looking for the perfect seat but he never found it instead he just wondered around for a little bit in the back here but then decided a seat closer to the front was more suitable for him. Both Bal-jeep and Ashley were on the bus this morning. Which was good I have not seen both of them on the bus for a while. It gave a little bit of familiarity to my daily routine. Let me tell you a little bit more about Ashley. She is a high school student who everytime i have seen her wears a brown hoodie and usually jeans of a sort. She is very pretty with medium to long dirty blonde hair. She is always in her own world when she gets on the bus and she stays in there until she gets off. She cares about the way that she looks by the amount of makeup she puts on and just her general appearance. Here are roger and and amanda with a new none regular university student. Those first couple of weeks of school in which you are always up early to get ready for the day have worn off on roger. Tokyo Police Club is on the bus this morning with of course her headphones on and i dont know if it is new or not but a very reddish purple haircut. And new shoes. Her shoes are very cool thye have multiple very bright colors. They are old stile runnerss with bright green blue pink and orange on them in that order from back to front. Ashley is now off the bus she seemed rather delightful this morning. Whenever you see someone you know smiling or even someone you don't know smiling it is just contageous and the corners of your mouth just start to curl up as a wave of delight washes over you. By the school this morning there was a cop doing a radar check and the best part was that he was doing it right by the mac's literally 10 feet away from the morning high school smokers. I didn't see nearly as many smokers only the brave were left i guess. I havent told about the excitement of something wrong with the back door this morning. It was enough of a trouble to warrant the driver bob needing to fill out a form that i have just notices now sitting right behind him in a little folder. For the first time ever this morning besides at the high school someone got off the bus before the university somewhere in the varsity veiw district. O well time to go phillipians 4:13 look it up later.

Oct 15 Bus 453

Thes bust is of the newer generation and it has a very funny idle rate. As soon as i got on the bus the bus driver had gone to fill his water bottle as usual. He wasn't gone a minute and it just started revving up really high. I dont know of he is training a new guy or what but he is riding more or less as a passenger and there is another guy driving. Maybe it is just to test and experience what it is all about. It it is actually his replacement i will be very sad if it is his replacement i have built up a relationship with Bob. For that last couple of days there have been two girls Gwen Hwen who have been on the bus when i get there. They are university students who keep to each other. They might be roomates who both wake up late cause one always has frizzeled hair like it is drying after a shower the other has her hair up in a pony tail. Roger looked very lonely getting on the bus this morning by himself amadna nowhere to be found. There is a new girl on the bus who is pretty and dressed very modestly in jeans and a millar green hoodie. She is also a university student i would think do to the fact that she did not get off at the high school. It was very weird not to see any smoker kids by the macs this morning maybe they did a smoker special at school yesterday. Stranger expose. That means there is no one to really talk about so i am going to talk about a first time rider or at least first person who gets on after 8^th street. But i haven't met them yet. I think it will be a girl with a light sweater on. Dang it. It was a guy dressed in a nike back pack. Well that was not what he was wearing it was just on his back. He had some black rimmed glasses straight out of the 50's and the haircut to match except instead of the comb over he combed both sides putting it straight up into a light fo hawk. He jacket was a lighter greenish denim jacket. There were some italian leather shoes that adorned his feet and he carried a stainless steel coffee mug i would assume with coffee in it cause he looked pretty tired. And he had ear buds in listening to some sort of really boring music maybe even a really boring lecture.  

October 6-8

October 6

This wenesday morning Amanda was not on the bus but this does not surprise me becasue she is not all that regular. Baljeep though i can count on being here every Wednesday. It iwas interesting this morning mindy was not there, There is a man i call Solomon or just saul for short. I have ridden the bust with hime a number of times. He is a bigger guy east indian with a rather well grown out beard and a shaven head. Likes his deals with a very nice clothing and very sparkly shiny lip gloss. A girl with a tokyo police club t-shirt got on the buss this morning just before gregorians stop. Speak of the devil. But back to police club she as really big head phones and with the band shirt makes me think music buff. Balljeep just got off at aden bowmen but before that a girl got on who is wearing these pretty stylish glasses but the rest of her apparel is very cofortable with well worn blue jeans and a lavender/blueish sweater fleece. I tried to get a glimpse of what she was listening to on her ipod but she was to far aways for me to read it. I dont know what the average is but she was very zoned with what seemed like an elevated breathing pattern at about 20 short breaths a minute. And she is a coffee drinker maybe the caffeine gives her an elevated heart rate shich really i dont know if that has any medical relevance. We took a new route today because of construction. I hope nobody misses the bus becuase of it.Cool looking guy came all the way to the back of the bus for an empty seat it seems like more and more people have been on the bus. Cool guy can also text really fast and without looking. Which makes him even more cool. As i glance towards the front of the bus and see roger my bus ride comes to an end. To a new day. im omnius parata. Gilmore girls!

8^th October

This morning as i got on the bus and i just i isnt that cool. I am the only one on the bus right now. There is no one else here. I really like my regular bus driver I will call him Bill. For i know not his real name but he is a gentle men in his mid 30s i would say. He is bald and wears these very cool sunglasses thin and streamlined sort of like morpheous. Right beside my first bus stop or rather across the street there is a new building being finished and i think they're goal is to finish the building by the end of the year. But it is particularly intersting this morning becuase they have 4 large cement trucks waiting to dispense their cement into a very cool concrete pumping arm that is going in and out of the muliple level building the stinger of a bee proding its human victim. The bus i am riding on today number 382 if that is really its number is an old bus with an actual back window those are the coolest.squeaky breaks though.

I have never thought about the letter q all that much before but it is rather ridiculous. Just like that shouldn't it be in ridiqulous no c has to triumph over itand weasle it place in there poor q. At hte second stop today there was a man who got on if i had to guess his name it would be robert from his preppy appearence. Knitted sweater and collared shirt with cacky pants. Roger and amanda. I think go on at their usual stop. I wonder if they know each other from before or just meet up every morning on the bus. Well none the less roger is wearing his glasses this morinign which clues to me that he woke up late this morning and in order to cathc the bus at the same time of his lovely counterpart amanda rushed to get to the bus stop. Those two just seem right for each other. Henry Got on the bus this morning an older african american man very cool i would love to have a talk with him some day. Back to roger and amanda they seem like they have so much to talk about and it is equal talking not once side talking at a wall. George is here sporting just that sport shorts and an flannel shirt so cool. But i could picture 2 years from now at Roger and Amanda's wedding which would take place on the bus and be officiated by the bus driver like a captain on a ship. Then they would parade it around the city themselves in one bus with the cans dragging behind and just married written across the back. That would be pretty funny. This hipsanicer looking lady got on the bus with enormously frizzy hair it is a site for sure. An instructor for the 2009 u of s scifi camps just got on the bust he is pretty cool. Now as we close in ont hte university the crowd gets larger and the bus is more excited with the bussle of talk and chit chat... o wait this is canada the only two who are still talking are amanda and roger i shoule talk to strangers.

October 1

Pinch and a punch for the first day of the month. This morning the city of saskatoon was surrounded by fog making it a somehwat eirie morning. The only regular first stopper was baljeep.

He seemed to to be very tired and sort of out of it. The other two on the bus were an asisan lady who i politly smiled at and she looked almost confused but she eventually smiled back as i walked by. Then in seet number sixteen as the sticker on the back of his chair indicates was a student. He looked as if he was a high school student but you can never be to sure because the way that these kids look at university they could be in grade 9 for all i know. There is alot of traffic on the road this morning,. Mindy got on wearing her usual jeans t-shirt and a small bunny hug. I wonder how long she waits for the bus. Roger got on by himself this morning Amanda was not there. Andother girl was though, she is a young high school student i have deducted this by the fact that she was dropped off by her mother at the bus stop. First time taking the bus? Was she late for her ride. Maybe it wsa somehting new. Aevery morning as we go by the smokers of the high school i give them a disappointed glare sad stories really. At school stop # 2 we picked up a new regular or so it would seem i will call her Georgia she is a rather biscuitus woman. At Elementary school stope wer picked upa hippie chick. George just got on the bus. I like george he is a university student with a limp. Rather old i would say at least 40. he as a pretty good mullet and wears a biker's vest jeans and usually a white button up shirt. I wonder what his past is. Was a he actrually a biker. Maybe the mullet has something to do with the limp maybe he was a hockey player in the late 80s wsa ready to go pro wehn he was hit or slashed and it ended his career now maybe he is upping his education becuase his first career path did not work. I can just picture him coming out onto the ice “and now ladies and Gentle on defence number 17 George.” and the crowd would go wile cause he was the captain and the star. He could lay out any individual that stood in his way. Fast with the stick but even faster with the feet. Until mid season 1984 Hawkeye the goalie of the opposing team did not like it slashed his knee destroying all the ligements. George never to skat professionally again. What could have been. And as i finish today i would like to leave this picture. The fall colors taint the leaves on the numerous trees by the river and as i gaze across a thick fog has blanketed the city o what a glorious creator.

What This Is

The bus rider chronicles were created due to boredom. And something that i wanted to do while riding the bus. They are simply put my bus ride the people there and my thoughts about them. I create names and back-stories to who they are and what they are all about they may have nothing to do with the actual people that are there. It is un-edited because at the beginning i said i will only work on these while on the bus. Enjoy.

September 29

Today the bus was 10 minutes late. There were already three on the bus when i got here. Ashley, BallJeep a new gir or at least one i have never seen before.. Interesting two stops in there came a girl on the bus who looked just like another girl i new. Her hair was exactly like hers long blonde curly. We are at the third stop in now waiting fo rthe second stop sign on the bus route. Saw and interesting cool purple ford f-150. Up at the front roger is talkingever so contently with Amanda. They always get on and off the bus at the stop beside St. Martins church. I have never seen one without the other. They don't seem like a couple but perhaps just bus mates. We never picked up gregorov today i hope he is not sick. The girl sitting infront of me is wearing a large pair o fheadphones you can only imagine what she is listening to. From her appearance i would geuss something calming and fun. Something either like the tones of Michael Buble or Joshua radin. It seems like she is in a state of content niether happy or sad but deep in thought just leistening as she wills. At the junction across from the university hospital i saw a girl and her mother riding the bike they were on a sort of tandem it was very cute and i hope they have a great day.
